I've got you covered. It only takes a few easy steps to view a deleted transaction through the Audit Log. Just follow the steps and visual guide below. 

1. Go through steps 1-4 from my colleague post above. 
2. Click on the Show: Transactions drop-down arrow and choose Deleted/Voided Transactions. 

       3. Press Apply. 

       4. Locate the transaction and select View in the "History" column. 

Now you'll be able to successfully view the details of the deleted transaction.
