The error message you're getting means that your account has been marked as inactive. This can be resolved by reactivating the account from the Chart of Accounts.
Here's how to make an inactive account active again:
- On the left panel, click Transactions.
- Select Chart of Accounts.
- Above the Action column, click the Settings option.
- Put a check mark in the Include inactive box.
- Look for the inactive account, and click Make active.
Also, if you have a lot of unbilled expenses, and you want to remove them, just go to your Dashboard. On the top of your screen where the URL is, remove "homepage", and put this in your URL after "/app/" managebillableexpense. So your URL will say: c__.qbo.intuit.com/app/managebillableexpense.

- Go to the Help icon.
- Click on the Contact Us button.
- Enter brief info about your concern.
- Tick on the Let's talk button.
- Lastly, select the Get a callback button to arrange a call from them.
