QuickBooks Update Not Working even though I'm the only Admin

I'm logging in as an admin user account (I'm the only one who has admin rights, actually) and I get an error message stating that "Looks like you don't have the required permissions.  Contact your system administrator." when I try do a software update.  This appears right as I'm opening the file.  I'd like to keep up to date, obviously, but this makes it impossible for me to update.  Any help would be appreciated!
