You can also consider using the Add/Edit Multiple List Entries window to add your inventory items by copying and pasting list information from Excel directly into QuickBooks.
To do this:
- Go to the Lists menu and select Add/Edit Multiple List Entries.
- Select the List drop-down arrow and choose the correct list.
- Set the columns you want to see in the Add/Edit Multiple List Entries window by clicking the Customize Columns.
- Copy (Ctrl+C) the data from your Excel file and paste (Ctrl+V) it into the Add/Edit Multiple List Entries window.
- Once you're done, click on Save Changes.
