Hello there, 781.

Welcome to the Online Community. Updating or Repairing the Adobe Installation helps resolve printing problems you experience in QBO.

The process should only take a couple of minutes. To begin, visit this site to update the Adobe Reader: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/install-updates-reader-acrobat.html.

However, if you’ve already downloaded the latest version, let’s go ahead and repair it. Here’s how:

  1. Press the Start button on your keyboard and then enter Control Panel.
  2. This will open another window where you can select Programs and Features.
  3. From there, choose  Acrobat or Adobe Reader and hit the Uninstall/Change option.
  4. In the Setup dialog box, select Next to choose Repair and then click Next to continue.
  5. Then, click Install.
  6. Once done, hit the Finish button.

Restart your computer and log back into QBO. From there, try printing the deposit summary. If you continue to get the same result, open the company file using the incognito mode or private browser.

When you browse a website, it stores temporary data and the cache slows down the application’s performance. This can cause unexpected behavior in QBO.

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Internet Explorer: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: press Command + Shift +N

If you’re able to print the deposit summary with the correct spacing, clear the cache of your regular browser. This will improve the overall performance of the application.
