QuickBooks sees it as the same account, dturtonrmf. That’s why transactions from the previous account also showed on the new one.
Yes, you can combine both credit card accounts in QBO. We can update the old account’s information and then disconnect the new one. After, merge the two accounts.
Here’s how to edit a connected account:
- On the Banking page, click pencil icon at the upper-right corner of the bank tile.
- Select Edit sign-in info.
- From there, change the details.
Please follow these steps on how to disconnect it:
- Still on the Banking page, click the pencil icon for the new account.
- Check the Disconnect this account on save box.
- Click Save and Close.
After the process, you can manage your downloaded transactions and then reconcile them.
