@Tena_Lewey Thank you for your reply. I too have been a long term user of Intuit, I started using QB DESKTOP Windows I think in the 1990's. The windows program was great, then when they released QBO (Quickbooks online) I eventually moved all of my data from the DESKTOP program into QBO, they made it very simple to upgrade. Intuit always suggested to create as many accounts as needed and as many Classes as needed, they recommended this for my Real Estate business, they promoted CLASSES like crazy; so I ended up following their recommendation and I have been separating properties by Classes and creating the various accounts needed to track all aspects of the accounting. Intuit makes it nearly impossible to move from QBO back to Desktop, this task will require a large investment of time to import some, and rekey perhaps years of records into the Desktop version. By the way, I think CROOKED INTUIT will face out their Desktop version anyways.
