You don't have to worry, @Wease.

We have a QuickBooks Desktop trial version you can download. This should help convert Sage into QuickBooks Online (QBO).

First, please make sure the computer meets the minimum requirements to install the software. Then, click the version's link you want to use.

For additional details, refer to this article: Download a trial of QuickBooks Desktop.

Once done, please follow the steps below on how to convert Sage to QuickBooks.

Set data access credentials

  1. Launch Sage 50.
  2. Open the company file you wish to convert.
  3. Go to the main menu and select Maintain.
  4. Click Users and choose Setup Security.
  5. Go to the Data Access/Crystal Reports tab.
  6. Choose With the following login information.
  7. Select Change to set a new password.
  8. Close Sage 50.

Download and run the Conversion Tool

The tool must run with Windows administrator rights for proper conversion.

  1. Download the QuickBooks Conversion Tool.
  2. Go to the folder where you saved it and select the tool.
  3. Click the Run as Administrator option.

As always, check out the articles shared by my colleague for the detailed steps:

If you haven't signed up for QBO, see our QuickBooks Online trial page to try it for free. Now, you're ready to convert QuickBooks Desktop File to QuickBooks Online.

That information should get you back in order, Louise.

Let me know how it goes after performing the steps above. I'll jump right back in to assist if you need anything else. Best regards.
