I too, am having this issue. I have my license number and product ID. QB provided me an activation code when I first purchased the software, but my computer crashed so now I can’t install on a new computer. QB is refusing to give me the activation key again unless I purchase the subscription that I do not want or feel I should have to purchase. I am being held hostage by QB. To make matters worse, I can’t wet a code through my Hotmail email and no one can figure out why.
