Issues like this can indicate software compatibility problems, corrupted settings, or issues with the printing software or drivers on your iMac, lomontman.
You can reset the printing system on your iMac. Sometimes corrupted print settings are responsible for crashing. Resetting the printing system may clear any problems. To do so, follow the steps below:
- On your Mac, choose Apple menu and System Settings, then click Printers & Scanners in the sidebar.
- Control-click the printer in the Printers list on the right, then choose Reset Printing System. Note: If no printers appear in the Printers list, you can Control-click the empty list and choose Reset Printing System.
- After you reset the printing system, the list of printers in Printers & Scanners settings is empty.
- Add the printer again.
On top of that, double-check if your current operating system is supported with your current iMac. However, if you’re still experiencing the same issue, I recommend contacting our support team so they can check why this is happening. Once you're on the page, choose QuickBooks for Mac and Continue. Follow the prompts so you'll get in touch with one of our support team.
