UPDATE 6/20/25: I replied to the email sent by Internal Accounting Services with “SCAMMER!!!” in a red 72 pt font. Almost immediately I received this response: “As per your telephonic conversation we understand you do not require the software support services on your QuickBooks. We have refunded the full amount of $4499.99 . The credit should reflect in your account within 3 – 4 working days.” We’ll have to wait and see if the money is put back, but obviously they don’t want any light shining on them.

It appears that a company called Internal Accounting Services with web address: internalaccountingservices.com continues to engage in an online scam. I recently had my QB desktop 2020 data uploaded to QBO 2025. During the process "someone from India" had complete control of my computer. I was informed that the fee for the upload was $799.99 with one year of tech support. Yesterday I reached out to tech support and was informed that I have no tech support. I called me bank and they say the charge was pending but not authorized. Requested the bank to close my card account and reissue a new card. Tech support was not helpful in realizing the scam I trying to inform them of. They hung up on me. That is what happens when support is outsourced to a foreign country. English proficiency should be required. And I could do without hearing a dog barking in the background. September 25, 2025
