Yes, this has been resolved already. The error you're seeing happens when you try to inactivate an account that's still associated with a product or service item. To fix this, you'll need to find that item and assign it to another account.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. On the left menu, head to Sales then select Products and Services.
  2. Click the small Gear icon at the top right of the list to customize the columns that are displayed.
  3. Ensure to enable the columns for Income Account, Expense Account, and Inventory Account to easily identify which product is connected with the account. 
  4. Use the Filter option at the top of the list to make sure all items are shown, including both Active and Inactive items.
  5. Locate the product and service item, under the Action column click Edit.
  6. Change the assigned account.

 

Make sure to do this on all product and service items that has the account that you'll want to inactivate. Once done, you can now inactivate the desired account in the chart of accounts.
