Your thoughts are important to us, Malwood. Currently, the AI assistant or the Business Feed button is accessible to admin users who are Beta customers. I'll provide you more details about the new AI assistant.
In the meantime, you can avoid clicking the Business Feed button to ensure you can navigate our platform without engaging with its functionalities. While the option to turn it off is not available, I recommend sending feedback to our product developers to help us improve our offerings and better align with your needs and preferences.
Here's how to submit feedback:
- In the Intuit Assist window, click Give us feedback.
- Enter your comments and suggestions in the box.
- Hit the green Next button to submit.
For future reference, if you want to get the latest updates with invoices and estimates, you can refer to this article: See what’s new with estimates and invoices in QuickBooks Online.
Drop a comment below if you have additional concerns about the Intuit assist. I'm always here to help. Have a great day.

@MalWoodUSA Hard to believe a company has the audacity to expect its customers to do its beta testing for free.

FFS Intuit - some of us have actual intelligence and do not want or need any "AI" assist. These features need to be opt in rather than everyone gets it. Those of us still willing and able to use our God given brains should not be subjected to this lunacy.

That's sounded good, but then you didn't provide any more details about the new AI assistant. At all.
RE: Drop a comment below if you have additional concerns about the Intuit assist. I'm always here to help.
OK, as you're always here to help, I would like you to provide you more details about the new AI assistant.
Thanks in advance!

When will I learn that Intuit always focuses NOT on their clients!!
Please, please, please give me a way to turn this crap off!!!

I don't see a "Give us feedback" button on the Business Feed screen, but I definitely don't want to be seeing pop ups from an AI guessing what I'm trying to do and getting it wrong. It's asking me to send overdue reminders to good customers whose invoices are one day late. I don't want to deal with these pop ups, I want to opt out.

SERIOUSLY? There is still no option to turn OFF the AI Assist feature?

100% agree. This AI system is terrible and makes changes without our consent. Every time I call QB they say "oh leave us feedback and it'll be changed". Obviously that's a big fat lie from QB. How stupid are the devs to force AI onto people and it's not even a finalized version. I swear intuit is becoming more of a joke every time they release new "features".

You know what is rich? Not using the "Default" Subject line for outbound invoice emails, instead replacing it with AI text i don't want. Sure I can toggle out of it, but that's literally what 'Default' means. I'm clicking the dropdown EVERY time because I don't want it to say something stupid or pushy.
Boo on the robots. PLEASE make these things opt-in vs. opt-out.

Customers should have a choice and easy way to OPT OUT of AI Assist.

I'm about to lose my religion with this AI crap. I leave feedback several times a day. If I'm going to get interrupted by the stupid pop-up suggestions, I might as well get completely off track and type out a seething, all-caps note to the developers. QBO has a total disregard for its customers and is too bold thinking MY customers belong to them. Can't wait 'til I find a program that fits our needs.

I've just sent this:-
PLEASE, PLEASE PLEASE give us an option to opt out of this new AI rubbish. I want my old Bank Transactions page back. The hyper-link to Opt Out doesn't work!!!!
I am so used to the old way of working. Why does QBO feel the need to change things. Just leave it all alone!!!

This is extremely annoying that QuickBooks modify my business setup to make me part of the AI Intuit Assist .
I need this turn OFF and I'm unable to figure out how.
I have other things to do in my life than spending time trying to figure out how to turn a feature OFF that I never turned ON at first.

QBO has been making this same suggestion of leaving feedback on the Business Feed and AI issues for more than a year. It is clear that leaving feedback serves no purpose and the functionality of QBO is ever getting worse. No doubt that the Business Feed and AI features have nearly doubled my time to get tasks done.

I can see that you're having trouble navigating through the new interface of QuickBooks Online (QBO), Chase. Let me walk you through the steps on how to split your transactions.
You can see the split option by going to your bank transactions, then clicking the dropdown button.
Here's how:
- Go to Bank transactions, then locate the transaction you want to split.
- Under the Action tab, click the dropdown button.
- Select Split.
- After entering all the necessary information, click Split and post.
Once you successfully split the transactions, you can proceed to categorize the transactions to ensure they're categorized to their appropriate accounts.
If you need further assistance with the new update in QuickBooks, don't hesitate to reply. We'll be in touch anytime.

Hey Quickbooks - instead of responding with how to fix stuff when AI is on and running you just simply offer an opt out on AI?
Quick to respond to a concern that is not actually the overriding concern! Having spent an unproductive hour on the phone with your folks idea of Customer Support I am starting to understand why AI is actually on. It seems to be because you folks need artificial intelligence as actual intelligence is lacking.

RE: Once you successfully split the transactions, you can proceed to categorize the transactions to ensure your books are balanced.
I don't know what you meant, but categorizing transactions does not in any way "balance" your books. Your books are balanced when your balance sheet balances. Which is always in QuickBooks - except for QuickBooks' various reporting bugs.

As already said by others it is absolutely ridiculous to this without the option of opting out.
Indeed most of us have a brain and are happy, willing and able to use our brain power without AI assist in any shape or form.
I you are doing this to get rid of customers you might yet be very successful.
for most of us it waste our time!!!
