Hi Will, I suggest you follow the recommendation from the previous user. Please update your QuickBooks and then set up the new shipping manager again.

 

If you're using QuickBooks Desktop 2022 or an older version, upgrade to QuickBooks Desktop 2024 to access the new shipping features.

 

For the QuickBooks Desktop 2024 version, refer to this guide: Update to the latest release.

 

After updating your QuickBooks, download your shipping data and set up the new Shipping Manager.
 

If the Access Denied error still appears after updating your QuickBooks, I recommend contacting our live support team. Our experts can arrange a screen-sharing session, which we can't do here in the Community space.

 

Here's how to reach them:

 

  1. Go to the Help menu and select QuickBooks Desktop Help/Contact Us.
  2. Select Contact Us.
  3. Type a short description of your issue and concern in the box provided, then click Continue.
  4. Sign in to your Intuit account, select Continue, and then Continue with my account.
  5. You'll receive a single-use code in your email; enter the code and select Continue.
  6. Hit Have us call you.
