Wow. I can't believe QBO doesn't fully support Sales Orders, and now that it has been implemented it's been done in such a bad way.
The AI bot answer says "Currently, you can only convert an estimate into an invoice and turn a sales order into the latter item."
It makes no sense to implement Sales Orders and then NOT ALLOW conversion of an Estimate into a Sales Order, but to to allow conversion of an Estimate into an Invoice.
I have talked to QB support about doing a migration from Quickbooks Enterprise to QBO and they did not mention that Sales Orders are not supported. This is a HUGE omission of functionality and essentially cripples Quickbooks Online for any business that's larger than a cash and carry retail shop.
