In order to PROVE that we do NOT have to send you a 1099, we have to HAVE YOUR (Intuit) W-9 ON FILE TO SHOW THAT IT IS A CORPORATION. Literally how difficult is that for EVERY SINGLE customer service bot on this support site to NOT understand one of the simplest things of compliance. It's honestly scary that this company runs TurboTax and other compliance-based resources when they clearly are so dull that not ONE of their employees can provide the most basic vendor form.
