Hi Candice. Thank you for responding but I don't believe this will be a fix, since the company file is working when accessed over a share via the database server ip address verses it's hostname/dns name. I discovered that the fqdn hostname is required for multi user access from this forum, so i hoped someone else might have a similar answer here.
