As you've already tried all the recommended solutions from previous support but still experience issues sending invoice emails via Outlook, please follow the steps below to address the problem, Jtcomposites1.
The steps I'm about to provide are somewhat complex. If you're confident with using a computer, feel free to proceed with them. However, if you find them too challenging, it would be advisable to contact an IT professional for assistance.
Let's start by conducting this test to pinpoint the issue:
- Restart your computer.
- Open Microsoft Word and start a new document.
- Navigate to the File menu, select Send, and then opt to Email as PDF Attachment.
Attempt to send a test email. If you're unable to do so from Microsoft Word, please contact Microsoft Help and Support. There could potentially be an issue with your Outlook or Office Suite.
If sending emails from Microsoft Word works but not from QuickBooks, repair your MAPI32.dll using the steps below:
- Close all programs that are currently open.
- Open the Windows Start menu.
- Search for File Explorer and launch it.
- In the File Explorer search box, enter C:\Windows\System32.
- Locate and launch Fixmapi.exe. Adhere to the instructions displayed on-screen to execute the repair.
- After completing the repair, reboot your computer.
Launch QuickBooks and attempt to send a test email or transaction. If an error persists and the repair is unsuccessful, please reinstall QuickBooks Desktop. Additionally, if you still encounter errors, I recommend contacting Microsoft directly or consulting with an IT professional for assistance in fixing issues with Microsoft Outlook.
Lastly, should you have any further inquiries about how to send invoice emails through Outlook, I am more than willing to provide detailed assistance.
