Thank you for choosing QuickBooks, Ugur01. We can convert the bank statement from PDF to a supported QuickBooks extension by downloading a conversion tool. I'm here to expand further below.
When it comes to importing bank transactions, QuickBooks Desktop most commonly use the QBO format for importing bank transactions. You can typically obtain QBO files directly from your bank’s online banking portal. These files carry the necessary information for account numbers, transaction details, and more, ensuring a smooth import process.
Let's now convert your you PDF file.
- Go to the QuickBooks Desktop App store.
- Select All Applications.
- Enter relevant keywords in the search field to find file converters.
- Click on the applications to view their details.
Moreover, you can consider using the conversion tool provided by Fiat Lux - ASIA from the thread shared by Chrea.
Additionally, ensure to reconcile your accounts regularly. This practice keeps your financial records accurate and up-to-date, providing you with a clear overview of your overall financial health.

Thanks for your follow-up response, Ugur01. I'll share further inputs when converting PDF bank statements into a QuickBooks-compatible format.
As mentioned by my colleague above, QuickBooks primarily utilizes the QuickBooks Online format when importing bank transactions. With that, the ability to manually convert PDF bank statements to a QBO extension in QuickBooks Desktop is unavailable.
As a workaround, you may consider utilizing third-party providers to help meet this feature so you can upload banking entries into your account. You can refer to the detailed steps shared by JanbonN in this thread.
Once everything comes in handy, it’s best to regularly review and reconcile your accounts to ensure they match your bank and credit card statements.
I'll always be available in this forum if there's anything else you need additional assistance with when managing bank entries in your account. Keep safe!
