I did find a replacement for QB Desktop and it was Freshbooks. Because of the stabbing that took place from Intuit management that decided to levy a MASSIVE price gouge, I went with Freshbooks. And the thing is, they are not much cheaper but I WILL NOT support a company that puts the customer last. Sure, raise the prices, GRADUALLY, but keep the services in place. Then place a deprecation path for the Desktop version but to cut and raise is dumb. I would have paid more for the Desktop software but the Cloud version IS NOT more secure then the Desktop version, this coming from an IT Consultant.
