It seems like the opened window could be an error message or a note that is too large for your desktop resolution. To fix this, I recommend adjusting your display settings so that you can close the window. I'll walk you through the steps:
- Click the Windows Start menu and enter QuickBooks in the search. Then right-click the QuickBooks icon and select Open file location.
- Right-click the QuickBooks.exe file and select Properties in the folder.
- Go to the Compatibility tab, and choose the Disable display scaling on high DPI settings checkbox. Hit Change high DPI settings and then Override high DPI scaling behavior.
- Once done, tap Apply and then OK.
