Yes, you can continue using your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) Pro 2021, but please be aware that certain features will be discontinued. After May 31, 2024, you will lose access to:
- QBDT Payroll
- Desktop Payments
- Live Technical Support
- Online Backup
- Online Banking
- Other services through QuickBooks Desktop 2021 software
Also, starting June 1, 2024, you won't receive critical security updates protecting your data. For more details, please refer to this article: QuickBooks Desktop service discontinuation policy.
Regarding your second question, QBDT Pro was a one-time license and is no longer being sold. The new subscription-based model, QBDT Pro Plus, is its counterpart and can be purchased by contacting our sales team.
