In the past, we’ve received phishing calls about our payment method not working for our QB software / services.

 

Today, we received a suspicious call that “Quickbooks was receiving messages that our software was not updating.”

 

-The phone #

-The “employee’s ID #” 

-Would not verify our product license # or any part of it

-When asked what version we had installed, the answer was not correct

 

The connection was distant and at times broken by periods of dead silence.  I disconnected the call at that point.
