Currently, there's no option to convert the invoice back to an estimate. For now, you can recreate the estimate and delete the invoice.
As for the issue of the estimate getting converted into an invoice without your knowledge, you can review the audit log to see who made changes to your transactions and what they did.
Furthermore, we recognize how the functionality to change the product or service on an invoice line item without deleting its description, quantity, and rate can help streamline your business tasks. That said, I suggest sending your input to our product development team for review and consideration.
Here's how:
- Open QBO.
- Navigate to the Gear icon and choose Feedback.
- Enter your comments or suggestions.
- Click Next to submit.
