Thanks for dropping by this thread, @CDOLW. I can guide you on how to get back your credit card fee on a fraud charge in QuickBooks Payments.
Our QuickBooks Payments department in coordination with your financial institution will further investigate this fraud charge. Then, our Payments team will check if they have the option to waive the fees that are used on this transaction.
You'll need to contact our Payments Support Team so they can begin processing your retrieval request. They will provide you with the necessary steps to take.
Here's how to contact them through QuickBooks Online (QBO):
- Sign in to your QBO company.
- Click on the Help (?) icon at the top right of the page.
- Select Search and click Contact Us.
- Select Customer and Vendor Payments.
- Choose a way to connect with us:
- Start a Chat with us.
- Get a Callback from the available expert.
The Support Team is available from M-F, 6 AM to 6 PM PT.
For more info, you can check this article: Contact Payments Support.
Once you receive an email from us, this article will help you to get more info on the chargeback basis: Use Payments Dispute Protection.
We're always here to lend a hand if you need further assistance with refunding your processing fees or any QuickBooks concerns. Take care always.
