I chatted with someone with Fiat Lux yesterday about this same subject and was told that QB Desktop 2024 Pro Plus for single user = $650 and they can help to obtain the license + you can get $100 cashback to pay with a business credit card. They also said that Intuit will support QB Desktop 2024 + Enhanced Payroll until 2027 as long as you pay the renewal fee to keep your licenses active. So basically, Quickbooks is forcing their long standing loyal customers like myself to go to a yearly subscription/renewal and next year the renewal fee could be whatever. This is America where we are use to having the freedom to choose and I don't like being forced to do things. If it is not broken, don't fix it. The only reason I see the Intuit is doing this is to make money off of the yearly subscriptions.
