Yes, it's correct. Intuit no longer sells QBDT with a one-time license only, and you'll need a subscription to use the program and get a hold of your company file. Also, after July 31, 2024, QuickBooks Desktop Pro Plus, Premier Plus, Mac Plus, and enhanced Payroll subscriptions will be available for new U.S. subscribers.

 

If you're a new user, you may opt for the Enterprise or Online version of QuickBooks. If you're an existing QBDT Plus and Desktop Payroll user, the latest security, product updates, and support will be provided.
