To make sure you've installed all the features and product improvements, let's ensure your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) is up-to-date. I'll be happy to guide you how.
- Close your company files and QuickBooks.
- Open the Windows Start menu.
- Search for QuickBooks Desktop.
- Right-click the icon and select Run as administrator.
- While on the No Company Open screen, go to the Help menu and select Update QuickBooks Desktop.
- In the Options tab, choose Mark All and Save.
- Mark the Reset Update box in the Update Now tab.
- Click the Get Updates button.
- Once the Update Complete appears, close and re-open the program.
- If you get the message to install an update, select Yes. Restart your computer after the installation.
