Intuit's currently in the process of releasing a new invoice layout to help you land jobs, keep work moving, and get paid faster. You'll automatically be able to use your new layout once the update occurs, with no additional steps required. All past invoices and estimates will be available after our update.

The following classic invoice features are currently unavailable in the new experience:

  • Price Rules
  • Classic sales tax
  • Print Later option
  • Send Later option
  • Account summary
  • Reference links displaying matched online transactions

Some customers won't be able to opt-in to their new experience if they're using features listed as unsupported. I can also confirm that our See what’s new with estimates & invoices article doesn't mention an official date where all subscribers will be switched to the new layout. I'd recommend keeping an eye on this article for any updates to it. The article additionally covers how you can verify which experience you're currently using.

When it comes to customizing and adjusting invoices, there's no need to manage templates with your new layout. Instead, you'll be able to customize and adjust them on the forms themselves. QuickBooks will remember your choices and apply them to the next invoice you create.

If you have any feedback you'd like to submit about an email communication you received from Intuit about plans for future updates, I'd recommend submitting your feedback to our Product Development team while signed in.

If there's any additional questions, I'm just a post away. Have a lovely Friday!
