Hello, @REGLPR.
This isn't the kind of service we want you to experience. I may haven't personally experienced what you've gone through but know that you have the right to be heard, and I'm here listening to you.
UK support is unable to help as QuickBooks Desktop is no longer supported in the United Kingdom. You can read these articles for the complete details: QuickBooks Desktop discontinuation support in the United Kingdom
Furthermore, as you indicated the use of the 2010 version, it is important to note that QuickBooks Desktop no longer provides support for older versions.
Additionally, to receive a validation code, I suggest reaching out to QuickBooks Desktop US support for comprehensive help. Here's how:
- Open QuickBooks.
- Go to Help.
- Select QuickBooks Desktop Help/Contact Us.
- Select Contact Us.
- Type your issue in the space provided, then select Continue.
- Sign in to your Intuit account select Continue and then Continue with my account. If you don't already have an account, make sure to Create a new account.
- We'll email you a single-use code. Enter your code and select Continue. If you have more than one account, select the account you want to use and then Continue.
- Select to chat with us or Have us call you.
I've also included this resource if you want to upgrade your QuickBooks Desktop 2010: Upgrade QuickBooks Desktop Pro Plus, Premier Plus, or Enterprise
