I suggest contacting QuickBooks Technical Support so an agent can take a better look at the errors. They have more tools, like screen sharing, that can help you rename the files without any issues.
Here's how you can reach out to them:
- In QuickBooks, click Help.
- Choose QuickBooks Desktop Help.
- In the Have a Question? window, click Contact us.
- On the Contact Us page, click QuickBooks Setup & Navigation, then choose File Setup & Management.
- Click Start a Message.
