See the issue everyone has, including myself, is we DO NOT WANT a subscription based version. For many of us it is not necessary. You suggesting to contact sales to "discuss" options when clearly there isn't one other than a subscription. is sort of useless. 

 

I get that it's a great cash cow for intuit or whomever owns them now but a monthly charge for this software, that software (i.e. Windows 365), internet service, Adobe Photoshop, Corel Draw, etc. etc. ends up costing the user thousands of dollars a year. I know that makes Intuit very rich but does nothing for small business or home users. 

If there was another version of accounting software I would buy it in a minute. As it stands now I'll keep my out of date version forever. As long as it is working it's good enough for me. Bells and whistles I don't need. Functioning software I do.
