However, the hold is removed within one business day upon receiving the wire. You will receive an email once the hold on your payroll account has been successfully lifted. In some cases, you may also need to contact your bank and ask them to accept Intuit ACH transactions in the future.

 

Meanwhile, if you really need to process payroll for your employees, you can print paper checks as an alternative. Here's a link as a reference: Change a direct deposit paycheck to a paper paycheck

 

Furthermore, I'd also recommend reaching our QuickBooks Online Support Team if you need further assistance about your payroll account. They have the necessary tools to access your account, review the hold status.

 

To reach them:

 

  1. Log in to your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Click on Help (?).
  3. Select the Search tab, then Contact Us.
  4. Enter a description of your concern, then hit Continue.
  5. Choose a way to connect:
     
  • Start a chat with a support.
  • Get a callback from the next available support.
