  • improper format of the EIN or tax ID

 

You'll want to review the information to see if there are any missing, invalid, or improperly formatted details. If there are any, consider updating them and save your changes before proceeding to view/file 1099s.

 

If the issue persists, I would suggest contacting our Customer Care support to delve deeper into this issue. 

 

Once fixed, proceed with creating and filing 1099s with QuickBooks Online.
