QBO support reads as follows: For 2023 1099-NEC or 1099-MISC forms: If you e-file your 1099-NEC or 1099-MISC with us, beginning in 2024, you can submit amended 1099 forms through QuickBooks Online. Check back later for instructions.
I'm looking for these instructions. The IRS has accepted the 1099-NEC I submitted, but the amount I had on it is incorrect. I've fixed the error in QBO and now I need to refile an amended form. Please advise.
