@kb2393, I can only speak for myself since I am NOT an Intuit employee. I have been using it this way since at least February of 2020, and have never had it crash on me. I am using QuickBooks Enterprise 2016 desktop version on the latest version of Windows 10. Your results may vary.
Backup your data and try it. You can always undo the settings I suggested. You will find others have had similar success with similar solutions if you scourer the Community with search term "script error".
