There's no specific time frame on when the status change from "rejected" to "submitted to the agency". However, Intuit will submit it to the tax agency within 24-48 hours and you check the status of your filings by following these steps:
- Go to Employees, then select Payroll Center.
- Choose the File Forms tab.
- Select the E-Filings tab in the Filing History section.
- If the E-Filing status is not updating, refresh the list by toggling between the Saved Filings and E-filings tabs.
- Select the View link in the Audit Trail column for more details.
Here are the different statuses that show:
- Submitted to Intuit - The e-payment or e-filed form has been submitted to Intuit.
- Intuit rejected - Intuit has rejected the e-payment or e-filed form. This error can occur due to incorrect payment, form information, or server connection issues.
- Submitted to the agency - Intuit has sent the e-payment or e-filed form to the agency.
- Agency rejected - The agency rejected the e-payment or e-filed form and sent a rejection message with a solution.
- Agency accepted - The agency has successfully processed your e-payment or e-filed form and is now complete.
