An Expense account is used to track all the expenses that your company incurs to keep your business running.
Please refer to the steps below to create a specific expense account for repairs and maintenance.
- Go to the Gear icon and select Chart of Accounts.
- Click New.
- Under Account Type, select Expenses. Then, choose Repair & Maintenance for the Detail Type.
- Enter a Name for the account.
- Click Save and Close.
Once done, use this account when creating expense transactions in QBO.
Additionally, run reports in QBO to get a detailed overview of your business operations.
