If I'm unable to use the desktop version, I will have to find another software. Forget the fees and the data mining, the software is abhorrent. It's so clunky to use and much less user-friendly. I feel like I'm trapped in a box every time I've tried to use it. I don't know why they don't make it more similar to their desktop version if they want more people to switch. QuickBooks online is only good for small business owners who are not accountants. If you need to do any sort of real work and view real financials, it's useless.
