You state that although the program is no longer supported, you can continue to operate it on your computer. That is not always so. I have QuickBooks Pro 2007. I recently had to purchase a new computer with Windows 11. I reinstalled my QuickBooks program and it worked fine. However, I kept getting the "Register your Product" pop-up. When I tried to register (I have my original product number and license number) it would not accept it and said I needed to call Intuit. When I did, I got a sales pitch to buy a QuickBooks subscription, which I declined. The registration window has closed and I am locked out of my program. The "Desktop Expert" I chatted with said I needed to upgrade to the latest version of QuickBooks and kept repeating that. That doesn't seem fair, since I paid for the original program, don't need product support, don't need to use it online, and I just want access to the program installed on my computer.
