You'll want to learn how to connect your American Express Business checking account using Web Connect online banking in QBDT. To continue with online banking services, you can choose the American Express Card QBDT as the updated account name in Bank Feed Setup for Credit Cards, Charge Card, or Checking accounts.

 

After that, you may need to update to the latest releasecreate a backup of your company file, and prepare to switch to Express Web Connect. Then, you may set up your bank by following the steps below:

 

  1. At the top menu bar, select Banking and choose Bank Feeds, then Set Up Bank Feed for an Account.
  2. Enter the account name and select Next.
  3. Use the American Express Card QBDT as the updated account name.
  4. You can see the My Company sign-in page. Sign in using your Intuit Account user ID.
  5. Enter your online banking account info, then select Connect. QuickBooks will connect to the bank’s server.
  6. Your bank may prompt you for a one-time password (OTP).
  7. Select the account(s) you want to connect to QuickBooks, then select Connect.
