Before anything else, we'd like to thank you for allowing us to help you with your current situation. If you want to switch back to the old invoice experience and utilize your old invoice template, we'll gladly write down the steps to help you revert your invoice to the old layout inside QuickBooks Online (QBO):
- Access your QuickBooks Online company.
- On the left navigational bar, click the +New button.
- Select Invoice.
- On the top-right corner, click the Old layout button.
- Click the Switch layout button.
- Enter or select the necessary details, and then the click Leave and submit button.

Once you've reverted back to your old invoice experience, here's how you can get back to your old invoice template:
- Go to Settings ⚙ and then select Custom form styles.
- Find your template.
- Select the dropdown ▼ in the Action column.
- Select Make default. You'll see (default) displayed by the default template name.

If you don't have don't have the Old layout option and want to get your old invoice template back. You'll want to go to the Design section below the Payment options. Select the invoice template you created to use it for your invoices.
