You can run a quick report for the checking account. Then, filter it to show the designated funds account only. This will help you track the running balance.
Just follow these easy steps:
- Click Accounting.
- Choose Chart of Accounts.
- Look for the checking account.
- Click the View register drop-down arrow, then choose Run report.
- Click Customize, then click Filter.
- Click the Account drop-down arrow, then choose the account for designated funds.
- Click Run report.
