QB in my opinion is becoming a deep state tool. They are requiring that employees for payroll provide phone and email info….. A lot of my clients are Hispanic, don’t have bank accounts and don’t have emails. The bank downloads work great at the office but that’s because of the plan or subscription we have.

At home I’m running Mac 2020 or 2021. They have stopped the ability to download bank statements into QBs. I purchased QB 2021 Mac Desktop. Now they are trying to force me into paying an outrageous amount per month to download bank statements and I don’t own the software.
i really hate QBs and as a CPA , have hated it from the start. Just because a client has QBs, doesn’t mean they are now a bookkeeping expert. Although they think they are.They have almost forced CPAs to adopt QBs by forcing on the client so the client can then send the files to the CPAfor cleanup
