You do not have to upgrade your account if you do not wish. You will not be forced into using QuickBooks Online Advanced so your current monthly charge will remain the same. Only 5% of QBO users will see an immediate impact of this release. If you're a QBO Plus user, you can keep 250 items in the Chart of Accounts, 40 tracked Classes and Locations, and 5 Billable Users. If you happen to be over any of these limits, you will still be able to operate as normal. What changes is you will not be able to inactivate an account then reactivate it or add new accounts. Any item made inactive will not count towards the limit total. You may consider using this as an chance to make anything inactive that you aren't using to free up some space.
