The QuickBooks WebConnector starts as a Windows Service, and can be disabled by following these steps:
- 1. Click the Start menu and type Services - click on the Services program to open it
- 2. Locate QBWCMonitor in the list, right-click it and choose Properties
- 3. Within the QBWCMonitor Properties dialog, click the Stop button to stop it (if it's running)
- 4. Click the Startup type: pop-up button, and chose Disabled from the list.
