ESC closes 2023 QBDT.
For a few months, when I press Esc to close a window in 2023 QBDT (as I have been doing for many years), the program crashes. Then, it takes forever for the program to re-open. Such a waste of time! I have used QBDT for 15 years and it is not efficient to have to use the mouse to click the "x" at the corner of each window when I need to close them. (Plus, I cannot get out of the habit, so I hit Esc dozens of times each day out of habit and the program closes--then the program takes a ridiculously long time to re-open.) I have spent hours performing all of the diagnostic tasks and tools suggested by QB, with no luck. I have a top-notch computer in excellent condition--the problem is with the QuickBooks program. QuickBooks - PLEASE fix this problem and let customers use the ESC key to close windows without crashing the program.
