Sadly, you want to close your Merchant Services account for POS, @Old Timer. I'm here to help guide you through the steps for disabling your account successfully.

 

You'll want to log in to your Merchant Service account and close the subscription in your Account ProfileYou may follow the steps I've laid out below:

 

  1. Log in to the Merchant Service Center portal as an admin user.
  2.  Click the Account tab to display a drop-down menu, then choose Account Profile.
  3. Select Close Account.
  4. You'll see a Reason for Closing drop-down. In this area, enter the reason you're discontinuing the service.
  5. Hit Submit.

 

Once your request is processed, you'll receive a confirmation email from Intuit within one business day. After cancellation, you can still access the Merchant Service Center to view or download reports, statements, and tax forms for up to 12 months.
