I tried to avoid the update, even though I know the program will stop updating payroll tax tables, but after the fifth time of opening the program, I HAD to install the update or it wouldn't open QB 2020. I have 2022 and 2021 and haven't downloaded 2023 yet. I really hate this update every rotten year crap.
