Which QB Desktop year version do you have?

I understand your situation with being able to receive a code to access QuickBooks Desktop. I'll do my best to assist you in any way I can. 

Were you able to sign in to camps? If not, we will need to sign in to it before I can route you to support to acquire your verification code.

 I'll show you how to do it.

1. Go to camps.intuit.com
2. Sign in with your Intuit Account info. 
3. If you see multiple products, select QuickBooks Desktop to go to CAMPs.

Sign in to Camps you can manage your accounts, products, contacts, billing, and user ID access. It is also the best way to find your license number. See this page for more insights: Change, manage, or update your Intuit account with CAMPs.

After that, let's call our QuickBooks Desktop support team; they have tools to access the activation codes. Please refer to these office hours:

• 6:00 AM-6:00 PM Monday-Friday
• 6:00 AM-3:00 PM Saturday

I downloaded my purchase of QG Enterprise Gold Edition and got as far as the Activation.  I've taken the steps you suggested and of course this is Sunday so I guess no one is available to help me get an activation code.  This is so frustrating as I had to do this on the weekend so it doesn't interfere with my clients during the week.  Right now is Tax Season and of course it's a very busy time for us all!   Is there any way I can get the activation code on a Sunday?  I saw you were on here today also, so was hoping I could get this up and running.

You have to chat with Support team to get the activation code during their business hours. Make sure you can login to CAMPS as the Primary Contact and find your license code there before contacting Support team.

Are you trying to activate your QuickBooks Desktop 2020? If so, you can activate your QuickBooks Desktop from the Help menu. 

Here's how:

1. Open your QuickBooks.
2. Go to the Help menu and select Activate QuickBooks Desktop.
3. Follow the prompts to finish activating your account.

If you don't have your validation code, you can reach out to our Customer Support team to process this one for you in a safe and secure environment. 

Follow the steps below on how to reach them:

1. From your QuickBooks Desktop account, click the Help menu at the top.

3. Provide some information about this concern in the search box.
4. Click the Contact Us link at the bottom of the window.
5. You'll now be provided with a few support options.

You have to chat with Support team to get the activation code during their business hours. Your QBD 2012 is too old. If they refuse to provide the activation code, you can use the trial version as a workaround.
